Leonard Beard has been working in the Algarve for several years as an experienced Celebrant. With a professional background and having worked as a Master of Ceremonies in the UK, the role of celebrant is well suited. Leonard is reliable, an excellent public speaker and has vast experience working with people. This makes Leonard the Algarve's leading Celebrant.

"Being a celebrant is a special honour and I am fully aware of the importance of this. In particular my background in public speaking and working with people is a great asset. I think it is a lovely undertaking to marry two people and Portugal is the perfect country for this. In particular I love outdoor ceremonies with a vivid blue sky providing the ultimate backdrop. I am available for rehearsals and we can also discuss details by phone or e-mail. It is my aim to put you at your ease and make your wedding perfect for you."

I usually meet for an informal chat prior to the wedding and discuss your special and unique requirements. Many couples like to add their own readings, poems and even vows, however I am there to advice and offer examples on all of these aspects including music. You will therefore feel relaxed and confident for your special day?
